What is Connecting the community?

We bring people and organizations together

The focus has been in Richmond Hill (Ontario) and nearby communities.

There is not a membership - there is just a willingness to get to know others in the community.

WEEKLY MEETINGS RESUME ON tUESDAY SEPT. 19, 2023, 9:45 am

New Location - The Central Library

Our library, and libraries in general, have been re-inventing themselves, to 'connect the community'.  So it makes sense that our group "Connecting the Community" meets there.

This should be a two way street  We can assist the library in connecting with the community and we can connect better with the library.

The meetings will be weekly.

Please invite others!

We will 'pass the can' for donations.  After much deliberation the CTC executive has decided to continue to operate as a not-for-profit and  hence we need insurance.  A few dollars each week will help

About monthly there will be an excursion planned to somewhere or something happening in the community.  Very often, they are places that you've intended to go.  Now is your chance.

On June 21st  and  August 30th we went  for a walk  and  explore the Museums of the Streets. We're planning on doing it again October 1st.  Stayed tuned
