The focus has been in Richmond Hill (Ontario) and nearby communities.
There is not a membership - there is just a willingness to get to know others in the community.
Our library, and libraries in general, have been re-inventing themselves, to 'connect the community'. So it makes sense that our group "Connecting the Community" meets there.
This should be a two way street We can assist the library in connecting with the community and we can connect better with the library.
The meetings will be weekly.

We will 'pass the can' for donations. After much deliberation the CTC executive has decided to continue to operate as a not-for-profit and hence we need insurance. A few dollars each week will help

About monthly there will be an excursion planned to somewhere or something happening in the community. Very often, they are places that you've intended to go. Now is your chance.
